TikTok Shop charges a referral commission on each order — a percentage of the total sale price. Unlike Amazon, there is no stable public pricing page: rates live in Seller Center, vary by category and market, and change with promotions. How the referral commission is calculated
The commission applies to what the buyer pays in total, including any shipping you charge. If you price with free shipping built in (the common TikTok Shop pattern), the full bundle is commissionable — which is why comparing net profit, not just the commission rate, is the honest way to price.
Where to find your exact rate
- US: Seller Center → Finance → fee schedule, or the Seller University rate card.
- UK: Seller Center → Finance section; fees are quoted excluding VAT where applicable.
- Malaysia and other SEA markets: Seller Center commission table; promotional rates are common.
